I’m Sasha, a Live Wedding Painter, and a a Fine Artist, based in Northwest Arkansas, focusing on portraiture and expressive realism.

With over 25 years of experience in the arts, including over half a decade of teaching at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, nothing brings me more joy than capturing all types of wonderful human beings through art. Except for, seeing the joy my process brings to people. That's why I love painting live.

As  a classically trained Fine Artist, my approach doesn’t entail hyper stylization or abstraction. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have phenomenal art teachers since the age of 12, which is when my formal artistic training began. I spent many years studying the human form from life, as well as teaching drawing and figure drawing fundamentals for over half a decade at the university level.

All of those experiences inform my creative process and translate into the finest craftsmanship, which is very rare in the wedding space. My mission is not only to depict an accurate likeness but to capture your essence in an expressive painterly style, that is beyond what any photograph can achieve.

There is magic in capturing your precious moments, the way historically royalty and families of nobility have been immortalized in paint throughout many centuries. I hope to dazzle you and your guests with the story of your love revealing itself through paint, and create a family heirloom cherished for many many generations to come.
